Absolutely!

Several of the baked goods are suitable for vegetarians and our trusted bakers also offer a selection of baked desires that are Vegan. Check out our offerings to make your pick. If unsure, please check with the baker by clicking the support button on the product page.

You do not need to create an account to place an order. However, we do recommend you register for a bakeddesires.co.uk account in order to be in the know of our delicious exclusive offers. And even more importantly, it allows you to track your orders, view, order history, reach out to bakers and efficiently reorder something you might have previously enjoyed.

No worries, it happens to the best of us. Just go to the SIGN IN page, and click on “FORGOT PASSWORD?” and enter your e-mail address. Then simply follow the instructions.

Typically, a 6-inch cake provides 12-14 servings, 8-inch cake provides 18-22 servings and 10-inch 30-36 servings.

For regular cakes, we recommend cutting a slice and placing it on its side and dividing this into equal portions.

For Giant cakes. It might be best to cut the cake in half from the middle, place it on its side and then cut the cake into slices. Some bakers would usually insert dowels through the cake to hold their stand, so please to remove these before slicing.

These goods are so yummy, we very much doubt that you will keep them for long. If you intend to eat them on the same day, best to store in a cool and dry place. We recommend that you consume all your good within 48hrs, as this is when they taste best.

Cookies usually stay fresh at room temperature for up to 4 days and can be stored in the freezer for up to a month. If frozen, they can be reheated or left out in room temperature before indulging in them.

Cakes would usually last for up to 5 days in the fridge or 2 weeks in the freezer. We recommend leaving them to stand for at least 3hrs before indulging to get the best moisture and flavours, particularly for large cakes. They are best served at room temperature.

Yes. Our order process is designed to make it as fast and easy as possible to allow you to indulge in several baked desires from multiple chefs and bakers at the same time. As such, you can make various orders and select various deliver options in a single order process.

Yes. We want to make sure you are 100% happy with your order. That’s why we send you a proof of purchase once we receive your order, so you can have another look before your baker picks it up. This is why we are able to allow you to amend or cancel within an hour of placing your order. After this our trusted bakers start baking your order.

Yes, you can repeat a previous order in a matter of seconds. Simply log into your account and click the “Repeat Order” link next to your order. This will add all your items to the basket and assign your customisations as on your previous order. All you need to do is pay for your order to complete it.

Ordering on bakeddesires.co.uk is made simple for the planner and for the spontaneous person. The baker’s ability to take orders depends on their capacity, so the earlier you put your order through, the higher the probability that your chosen baker would be available to fulfil your baked desire.

We recommend ordering at least minimum of two to three days in advance. We have the best bakers here and they get very busy, so always allow more time preferably. For larger cakes and very bespoke baked desires, we recommend at least 2 weeks to give your baker enough time to buy the necessary ingredients to fulfil your orders.

We are here to make last minute orders possible and there are bakers that are always available to take your orders, so we believe you will always find a solution to emergencies here at bakeddesires.co.uk.

Yes. Some of our bakers give you the option to select a delivery or postal date when ordering. Where it is not an option on the product page, we recommend adding this request in the text box provided for your baker to see. Better still, you can directly instruct or ask your baker using the Product Enquiry button on the product page. 

We will always be as accommodating as we can if you need to change or postpone an order but please bear in mind that we may have had to turn away other customers to fulfil your booking for a particular date.

Yes, but that will depend on the time period until the delivery of your order. If you need to change any details of your order or cancel it, we would require you to contact us within suitable notice of your chosen delivery date. Our trusted bakers and chefs always take pride in ensuring a swift and timely delivery when you want it and where you want it. To achieve this, they move very quickly as soon as they receive your order which means that unfortunately it is not always possible to cancel your order. Please understand that each order is uniquely created for you and also that for each order accepted, your baker has had to turn down another other to accommodate yours and therefore changes and refunds may are not always possible.

Expenses are incurred once a baker starts crafting your order, including ordering of ingredients. If an order is cancelled once placed, bakeddesires.co.uk reserves the right to charge for irrecoverable fees, ingredients costs and any other expenses incurred by the baker or chef between the time delivery is planned and the cancellation request.

As long as it is within sufficient notice of delivery, you can contact us and we will do our best to cancel or amend your order. Remember that our passionate and trusted bakers make everything to your request and it may be difficult to cancel once they start curating your order.

It is very simple to track your order on bakeddesires.co.uk. All you need to do is click the link provided in your order confirmation email. Or log in to your account, and click “Orders”. You will find a list of all your orders here. You will not be able to use the link provided in your confirmation email if you have no account with us. In this case, simply register, and you will be able to track your order.

At checkout, type or copy and paste the code into the ‘Discount code’ box. You should enter the code exactly you got it, without any spaces. Once you’ve entered the code, click on ‘Apply Code’ and it will add the code to your order. When the code has been applied to your order, you’ll see the promo value and the total of your order will update to reflect the code.

If your promo code isn’t working then please check the below:

  • You can only use one discount code per order
  • Discount codes cannot be used for items on sales, except otherwise stated
  • Codes may only be valid for certain items and our codes will have an expiry date.
  • Some codes will only work for specific people or for specific countries. If you’ve received the code in an email from us, then the code may also be locked to that email address. Make sure you use the code using your Marbriie account that has the same email address as the one we sent the code to.

Yes, totally. We prioritise safety in all our doings and you will be glad to know that your card details are not saved on our platform. Your payment details are safe with enhanced security provided by our payment processor, our cards services provider and the use of advanced encryption services (SSL).

DELIVERY & RETURNS

Yes. All the bake desires available here are made freshly and can be fragile. Therefore, we offer both collection and door to door delivery services across the country. When placing your order, you will get the opportunity to select your delivery methods. Please be aware that costs may vary depending on your distance to the baker and the size of your order. For orders that need to arrive at or by a more specific time, please let the seller know by adding a note when making the purchase.

If you are purchasing from a local vendor, orders can be collected directly from them. Please ensure to have name and order reference with you when collecting your orders. And if you are ordering cakes, it can be quite heavy, so please consider whether or not you need to bring someone to help you.

Of course! Our trusted bakers prioritise meeting your delivery timelines and are therefore really quick at packing your order up once it is completed. This means it is impossible to make any changes once they  are ready to send your item off for delivery. So in case you wish to update your delivery address, contact us immediately. This includes changing the delivery option and delivery address.

Absolutely! Baked desires are to be indulged by one self or shared. Gifting is part of why bakeddesires.co.uk exists. If you want to send something to someone as a gift, then you can use their address as the delivery address for your order.

Inform your baker that it’s a gift item and they will ensure not to display the prices of items on the paperwork included with the order so you can keep how much you’ve spent a secret.

You might want to give the lucky person a warning so they know to expect their yummy indulgence!

In the order process, you will be able to select your delivery options. Once your order is complete, you can sit back and expect it to arrive on your chosen date.

You can follow the transportation of your order if it’s been sent to you using trackable services. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email from our the delivery service company once your order is on its way; simply click on your tracking link on this email to view the up to date tracking.

Remember, all the baked goods purchased here are freshly made to order are full refunds may be impossible. Regardless, we will quickly respond to you. We will seek to issue a gift voucher that can be used in your next purchase with us should we find that we are to blame for the mishap. We will also seek to refund your purchase in extreme circumstances.

Yes, for a product you have purchased. In fact, we highly encourage you to do so.

Once your goodies have been delivered, you will get a prompt to leave a review. Click through to leave a rating and a comment for the seller. If you have a question for the seller or you need to contact them about their other offerings, please do not leave such question in the review section. There is a support button on each product page and each seller’s store front to click through to send the seller a message.

Do ensure that your feedback is fair and representative of the goodies you have purchased. If we believe a feedback is unjust or left incorrectly, we may remove it without consent.

BAKERS

You sign up for free, meaning we bear all your store creation and initial set up costs.

For payment processing, website maintenance, we charge a small commission. We take 10% commission from every sale you make in your first 12 months with us, from the date of your first sale. After 12 months, we will charge 15% when you make less than 25 sales a month and 8.5% if you make sales of 25 or more per month

Once your order is received by the customer, the transaction will be marked as completed. Your payments will be processed as soon as the first Friday following the date the status of the order is marked as “Completed”

Absolutely! Our actions and purpose for bakeddesires.co.uk will be fruitless without our ability to drum in customers for you. We care too much to let that slip, and that is why marketing is our biggest expenses.

Any items within the Baked Desires categories – Cakes, Cupcakes, Brownies and Cookies. So please list all of your items that fit into these ranges. Our customers love options and the ability to have several choices. The more selections you provide, the more likely you are to receive a lot of orders.

You are expected to use your own boxes. However, we are also happy to provide packaging if you would like us to. Just let us know.

  • Collection: You may want to offer click & collect option. In so doing, it is worth considering whether or not you want to restrict collection times to certain hours that is more convenient for you during the day; OR you may introduce specific lead time such as 2 hours from time of placing order; OR you may choose to allow the consumer to collect next working day, etc.. Whatever is convenient for you, you decide.
  • Delivery: You are able to  clearly state your delivery costs and methodology.
