Here is all you need to know
- You will need to open a bakeddesires.co.uk vendor account before you can start selling
- You will have a personal helper to guide you through the store opening process and get you all set up
- You will have your very own store
- You will need your baked products – you can start with as many or as little products as you want
- Your product images are extremely important. We require all the photos you upload to be up to standard. To achieve this, we are working with photographers across the country that can come to you to take photos of your products. Just let us know if you would like that, by emailing us at hello@bakeddesires.co.uk
- You are expected to include ingredients and allergen information in your listing details
- You can set your own shipping methods, from local pick up to shipping to a specific area
- You sign up for free, meaning we bear all your store creation and initial set up costs
- We take 10% commission from every sale you make in your first 12 months with us, from the date of your first sale. After 12 months, we will charge 15% when you make less than 25 sales a month and 8.5% if you make sales of 25 or more per month
- The price you charge for your product is up to you, but we only ask that they should be fair
- We are very big on customer service and we rely a lot on you to maintain our 100% customer satisfactory rate

Step 1
Open a vendor account by selecting “I am a vendor” here.
Once your account is opened, we will take you through a verification process just to make sure that you are who you say you are. It only takes a few minutes, and it helps us ensure the safety of everyone that visits bakeddesires.co.uk.
Step 2
Set up your store.
This is where your creativity begins. You will have the opportunity to showcase your brand and your social media profile here. Firstly, you need to list your range of baked goods. Here is what you will need to do that:
- Your products
- Nice to haves – logo, store front banner, social media profile, bakery shelf photos or founders’ family, and any other thing that you wish to use on your main landing web-page
A very important part of getting started and listing your baked goods is our Seller Dashboard. You will find more information about this in the next section.
Step 3
Start selling!
Seller Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you an overall summary of your store and activities. From this dashboard, you will be able to add new products and easily manage your existing products. Besides that, it will provide you with insights on product performances and suggestions on how to make your store more appealing to customers.
On your Dashboard, you will find an overview of your store, product views, orders, earnings, reviews and several other controls. There is also an announcement section, where you will see all the latest notices or announcements from us.
